Florim USA has partnered with the Clarksville Montgomery Public School System in an exciting community venture. The annual “Stuff the Bus” school drive was created with the purpose of providing school supplies for local educators. The education system has faced a tumultuous two years as the schools dealt with closures, online schooling and difficulties connecting teachers and students in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, as school systems re-open, Florim USA is proud to support the Clarksville-Montgomery Education Foundation’s efforts to “Stuff the Bus” and provide much needed supplies for the Teacher Warehouse.
Employees of Florim USA will be donating both sanitary and educational materials to the school drive. With the pandemic still an ever-present concern, this year in addition to dry erase boards and markers, pencils, notebooks, and scissors, we will be adding necessary hand sanitizer and clorox wipes to our donations. The supplies will be gathered in a school bus, where teachers can then go to “shop” for the upcoming year at no cost. With the help from community partners like Florim USA, the achievement of the school year has a chance to get a jump start.
Florim USA continually partners with organizations that give back to those in need, and we’re able to do that once again by placing donation boxes around our plant and administrative buildings to gather as many of the aforementioned supplies as possible throughout the week-long fundraiser. Florim USA is honored to be able to show our community pride and support for the importance of education, by providing these supplies to help the success of the school year to come.
